Our plans
Elsewhere on this site you can read about the inhuman conditions Native Americans often still have to live in the South Dakota and other reservations.
We do not involve ourselves with politics, only with the results, the victims thereof.
Pine Ridge Reservation is, according to US government data, the poorest area in the US, and people living there have the lowest life expectancy.
Direct financing of heating programs will lead to a lower mortality during the bitter cold winter months.
Next to that, a lot still has to be done about housing, nutrition, schooling, jobs, etc.
Can we do enough? Absolutely not. But luckily, we are not alone, others help as well, and the amount of individuals, companies and other organizations that help us is growing steadily. And together we can make a difference!
Soon, we hope to be able to present ourselves at meetings throughout the Netherlands, with a stand that is part show of Native American handicrafts, part sale of our publications and other merchandise, and naturally part information and collection – because money is needed, and lots of it.
Please help us with a financial contribution, by ordering one of our publications or other articles, or just by giving us a good tip. We are open to all suggestions that will help us improve our task, or expand our activities, so feel free to contact us.
